Painted Church Little Free Library, Post Mount Included

This little lending library is a smaller version of our original little library. It measures approximately 22x17x15 and can hold up to 25 children's books or 12 adult novels (depending on size). This is a Spruce, Cedar, and pine Neighborhood Book Exchange for sharing your books with neighbors and friends. It is made with 1x12 Spruce with accents of Western Red Cedar and Southern Yellow Pine #117 siding for the roof. It has a door with a clear Plexiglas window. (pictured with protective film still attached). I seal all the inside joints with clear silicone to ensure a weather tight seal. The POST MOUNT comes fully assembled and attached (a $40 value, included with purchase). All you have to do is put a 4 x 4 post in some concrete and set the painted house on the post. Mounting screws and easy to follow installation instructions are provided.

These Neighborhood Book Exchanges are great for rural America, where great distances make sharing books with neighbors and friends a great way to provide a gift to your neighbors. They are also great in the city where your neighbors can "leave" their books in your Neighborhood Book Exchange when they exchange theirs for yours.

Once painted and mounted on a post the Neighborhood Book Exchange should last for years of service keeping you and your friends supplied with a new source of books. We recommend Valspar Duramax Exterior Latex Paint. Remove film from plexiglass after painting, using a utility knife at the edges lifting at the corners.
