What metals are used in your earrings?

I use a variety of hooks depending on the design: handmade sterling silver, titanium, silver-plated, and gold-plated. The decorative parts of my earrings are usually pewter, German silver, zinc alloy, or other durable metals — always clearly stated in the description.

Are your earrings hypoallergenic?

Sterling silver and titanium are naturally safe for sensitive ears. Bought in hooks are described by suppliers as nickel-free/ hypoallergenic. Sterling silver and titanium options are available if you have highly sensitive ears. If you have very sensitive ears, I recommend choosing sterling silver or titanium hook designs where available.

Do your earrings need to be hallmarked?

UK law only requires hallmarking if the sterling silver part of a piece weighs more than 7.78 g. My handmade silver hooks are always well below this, so hallmarking is not required. I comply fully with UK hallmarking law and display the official Dealer’s Notice.

What packaging do you use?

All packaging is plastic-free. Earrings are sent in a natural card envelope with a decorative insert and confetti. A gift-wrap upgrade is available at checkout, with blush tissue, ribbon, and dried petals.

How long does delivery take?

UK orders are sent with Royal Mail Tracked. International delivery times vary: usually 10–14 business days for the USA. Please order early at Christmas to avoid seasonal delays.
