These skeins of yarn came from old sweaters and clothes that were being tossed out. It is a soft and comfortable cotton yarn that will work well for a variety of upcycling projects, such as scarves, sweaters, oven mitts, cleaning rags, and more!

The Blue Silk is 70% silk and 30% cotton
The Light Pink, Green/White, Thick Black,, Off-white, and Pale Violet are 100% cotton
Eggshell is 75% cotton, 25% nylon
Wavy Cream, Cream Multistrand, Light Green, Light Gray, Brown, Rose Fucsia, Dark Gray, Black, and Cloud Gray are all a 100% natural cotton blend
Raspberry is a 100% natural fiber blend
White Wavy and Red Wavy are 87% cotton and 13% Nylon
Single Red is 100% Cotton
Gray Slub is 78% Acrylic and 22% Cotton
The Silky Taupe is 68% linen and 32% viscose

By doing measurements with the weight of the yarn, I was able to determine its length. There is a chance that this number is not exactly accurate, and there may be a little more or less than the yardage mentioned.

Taking apart sweaters is a way for me to have more craft supplies available for people who may want to craft using eco friendly and sustainable materials but not harm the environment in the process of buying brand new supplies. And why buy new when we have so much still on this earth?
