Sturdy knife. Arrived coated with oil to keep the blade fresh. Nice and sharp.
This knife is flawless. No raspy edges, a near mirror polish, and a handle that fits the hand much better than the pictures can convey. It has a swell in the heel of the handle that makes it feel sure in your grip, and it's a nice oval shape that makes indexing the knife feel natural. The balance of the blade is exactly at the top of the handle, making it effortless to move quickly. It comes with a sharp edge, angled appropriately for a piercing knife... you won't be shaving with it, but it is still very sharp. The sheath needed a lot of oiling to get it to where the leather felt as it should, but once it's conditioned it feels good. Overall, it's absolutely worth the asking price.
