The backpack, the plastic on the backpack. That's sewn at the zipper is extremely durable. Our school requires see through backpacks; which for my kids ment buying at least 2 backpacks every school year for each kid. The embroidery is sewn well with no loose strings at of August (1st grader) . There are 3 pockets on the front; all with zippers; and another pocket with a pouch snap closure. In the inside the divided sections allow me to put her daily school supplies, as well as soccer practice clothes AND cleats!
