How can I print my artwork?

You have lots of options. You can print at home if you have a high-quality printer, take the files to a local print shop, or use an online printing service. However, we do highly recommend working with a professional printing service (locally or online) who can help guide you through the process (paper choices, printing options, formats, and various other nuances). Below are our favorite and recommended online printing services: USA: Finerworks - finerworks.com CA: Candela Fine Art - candelafineart.com UK: The Print Space - theprintspace.co.uk There's also many big box stores that offer budget friendly printing (e.g. Staples, Office Depot, Fedex, etc), as well as online services (eg. Shutterfly, Vistaprint, Snapfish, etc).

What type of paper should I use?

We recommend printing on acid free archival-grade Fine Art paper with a matte finish. We also recommend opting for a giclée print if offered by your printer for a long lasting print with accurate colors. When choosing a paper it's important to understand how that paper will effect the colors and details of the artwork. Some papers are more absorbent which can result in softer colors and detail. Papers also have different white hues (brighter whites vs warm white). So we always suggest getting paper samples from your printer to see what will work best for different artworks you want to print. For our own prints we like to use papers from the Hahnemuhle Photo Rag line, and we also love Epson's Somerset Velvet paper.

What settings should I use to print at home?

If you’re printing at home with your own printer, it's important to understand your printer's settings to get the best results. While we can't give specific info for every printer out there, there are some general tips: 1.) Make sure any color correction is turned off to keep the artwork’s colors looking exactly as intended. 2.) If you want a borderless print, look for the “Borderless Printing” option in your printer settings and turn it on. 3.) Whether you’re printing at home or with a local printer, make sure to disable the “Fit to Printable Area” setting. If you are at a print shop, ask the staff to do it. This ensures the image will print at the correct size, so you won’t have to trim it down or waste time (and paper) on a reprint.

Where can I find my digital purchases?
