1. YOUR RIGHT TO CANCEL (UK BUYERS)

If you are a consumer in the UK, the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 give you the right to cancel your order within 14 days of the day after you receive the goods, without giving any reason.

To cancel, tell us before those 14 days are up. You can do this by:
- sending us a message on Etsy, or
- emailing us at Trademintltd@gmail.com.

You may use the cancellation form at the end of these terms, but you do not have to.

Sending the goods back: please return the goods without undue delay and within 14 days of telling us you are cancelling. Use a tracked service where you can and keep your proof of postage.

Return costs: unless the item is faulty, damaged, incorrect or not as described, you are responsible for the cost of returning it. If the item is faulty, damaged, incorrect or not as described, we will cover the return cost.

Your refund: you will be refunded everything you paid, including the standard delivery cost, within 14 days of us receiving the goods back or of you providing proof that you have sent them, whichever is sooner. Refunds are issued through Etsy to your original payment method.

Condition of returned goods: you may handle the goods as you would in a shop to check what they are and whether they work. If their value is reduced because you have handled them more than that - for example a kit that has been part-assembled, a sealed component pack opened and used, threads or wool cut, or components soldered - we may deduct a reasonable amount from your refund to reflect that loss in value.

2. EXCEPTIONS TO THE RIGHT TO CANCEL

The right to cancel does not apply to:
- goods made to your specification or clearly personalised;
- sealed goods that are not suitable for return for health protection or hygiene reasons, once they have been unsealed after delivery;
- digital downloads, once supply of the file has begun with your express consent and your acknowledgement that you thereby lose the right to cancel.

This does not affect your rights if an item is faulty or not as described.

3. BUYERS OUTSIDE THE UK

Buyers in the EU have an equivalent 14-day right of withdrawal under EU consumer law, and the process set out above applies in the same way. Buyers elsewhere in the world are welcome to use the same 14-day process as a minimum, in addition to any rights they have under their own local law.

4. YOUR RIGHTS IF SOMETHING IS WRONG

Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, goods we sell must be as described, of satisfactory quality and fit for purpose. If goods are faulty:
- within 30 days of delivery you are entitled to a refund;
- up to six months, if the goods cannot be repaired or replaced you are entitled to a full refund in most cases;
- up to six years, you may be entitled to some money back if the goods have not lasted a reasonable length of time.

Digital content must also be as described, of satisfactory quality and fit for purpose. If a file is corrupt, unusable, incomplete or not as described, you are entitled to a repair, replacement or refund, and none of the wording in section 5 below affects that.

These rights are in addition to your right to cancel, and nothing in these terms limits them.

If an item arrives faulty, damaged, incorrect or with a component missing, please message us through Etsy. We aim to reply as soon as we can, and within 24 hours. That is a target rather than a guarantee, but if you have not heard from us within a day, please do chase us. Missing or damaged parts in a kit can very often be replaced without you returning anything.

5. OUR GOODWILL RETURNS POLICY (IN ADDITION TO YOUR LEGAL RIGHTS)

On top of your legal rights, we accept returns and exchanges of unused physical items in their original condition for 30 days from delivery. Return postage is paid by the buyer unless the item is faulty, damaged, incorrect or not as described.

This goodwill policy does not extend to digital downloads. Our digital listings are instant downloads: once supply of the file has begun with your express consent, and you have acknowledged that this ends your right to cancel, that right is lost under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. Until the file has been made available to you on that basis, your 14-day right to cancel applies in the normal way. Your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, including where a file is corrupt, unusable or not as described, are unaffected - see section 4.

This voluntary policy does not reduce your 14-day right to cancel or your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

6. CANCELLING BEFORE DISPATCH

We accept cancellation requests at any time before your order has been dispatched. Please message us through Etsy as soon as possible.

7. COMPLAINTS

If something has gone wrong, please message us through Etsy or email Trademintltd@gmail.com. We aim to respond within 24 hours, and we will do our best to put it right. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can get free, independent advice from the Citizens Advice consumer service on 0808 223 1133 or at citizensadvice.org.uk. Nothing here affects your right to take a claim to court.

8. GOVERNING LAW

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you are a consumer, you may bring proceedings in the courts of the part of the United Kingdom in which you live.
