Who makes these patches?

Just little old me! From design, to digitizing, stitching, finishing, packaging and shipping: I do it all. No automated embroidery file creation, no outsourcing to commercial embroiderers, and no low quality dye sublimation printing. It's all stitched out on a single needle embroidery machine and finished by hand in my home studio in Portland, Oregon. That's how I can ensure the finished patch looks as cool as I intended it to from the initial design.

Highlights

Made by PatchWitchPDX
Materials: embroidery thread, poly twill fabic, iron on adhesive backing, single needle embroidery machine

An alternate version of my Anti-Fascism Cat patch: now with 100% less cursing! Whilst the OG version sums up my feelings to a tee, I also recognize that I have a habit of swearing like a sailor and some folks don't go dropping f-bombs all over the place. So here's a less sweary version: same angry sentiment, simply stated more politely. The sweary version is still available in my shop as well.

The angry Black Cat has existed as a visual symbol of direct action, sabotage in the workplace (via work slowdown/striking on the clock), the silent agitator, and solidarity of the downtrodden workers since the early 20th century (see: International Workers of the World's "Sabo-cat" or "Sabo-tabby" for the origin 🐈‍⬛).

Size: 2 1/4" wide by 2" tall

It has iron on backing for quick and easy application, but can be sewn on for a more permanent situation, too.

Black twill fabric background with red text, rays and border, graphite highlights on the black cat, yellow eyes and white fangs.

I design, digitize, sew, and finish each and every one of my patches by myself in Portland, Oregon on a single needle embroidery machine. Nothing outsourced, real stitching (not printed!): every patch is unique and handmade by me from start to finish in small batches.

Since I make these entirely by myself, it's also possible for custom modification. Don't like the colors? Maybe you want it to say something else? Hit me up, and I'll see what I can do!
