Fairly straight forward simple dress pattern. Basic sewing knowledge recommended for a novice otherwise the instructions would be a challenge maybe. I found them great but am an experienced sewer. It printed out well and all the garment notches matched well throughout the dress construction. I did expect it to be more like the photo image but it sews up a lot more modest in the front bust as you can see in my photo along with the split I think I may adjust to a higher finish. The back is lovely and low though. I made for my daughters dance costume with stretch velvet and georgette. I did French seams for the skirt to make a nicer inside finish and hide the raw edges. Her Measurements chest 99 waist 74 full hip 104 - I made size 12 but I think I shouldve gone down a size. Recommend to anyone. Well Done Sewing Pattern Co xo
