Resembling an 18thC Pastel Portrait-this could be a print,a Photograph of a Painting,A Genuine Painting on Board as there is a split diagonally across beneath the Glass-I really have no idea-and apart from completely disecting it I wont be able to tell-which would then of course destroy it so it is being Sold as purchased and found as a Sweet Sublime atmospheric piece of French Home Decor,so if it DOES turn out to be a Masterpiece you've gained a French Treasure!

Discovered in Basse-Normandie,Northern France recently at a Village Brocante-a Stunning Antique French Framed Picture-Beautiful Sublime Image of a Young Child-within a very Timeworn Burgandy Velvet Border-Oval Framed-Original Old Glass,an Unique Home Decor Image to accent any Room. The Velvet covered Wooden Frame has lost all the Nappe and is almost Threadbare and is split along the lower edge but this is what I found so Charmingly Sweet together with the Exquisite Face within.......

So beautifully Executed throughout whatever medium it is....Wonderful Facial Features and a Sense of Calmness emits from this Divine little piece. Gorgeous Colour palette and plenty of Charm......a Hanging ring to the reverse allows it to be wall mounted or the Easel Stand for Table Top Display
Measures 5.75 x 4.75 inches / 14.60 x 12.06 cms Oblong dimension, Inner Oval Dimension Aperture 3.60 x 3.10 inches / 9.14 x 7.87 cms . A Delightful Old Piece.....
