"Grade A" Jadeite is laymen term whereas "Type A" Jadeite is professional term. They both refer to 100% natural, untreated and undyed jadeite jade. However, there are also Grade B (Bleached) Jadeites, Grade C (Dyed) Jadeites and Grade B+C Jadeites (Bleached and Dyed). All these are NOT natural jadeites as the structures and composites of the jadeites have been compromised, which in fact do not have much collection value.
