Original hand-cut wood painting by Louisville, Kentucky artist Patrick Jilbert. One-of-a-kind and signed.

This barracuda is cut by hand from reclaimed plywood and sanded smooth before layered color is applied across the surface. A spray-painted base establishes the primary tone, followed by freehand acrylic and house paint detailing that builds pattern and surface character. The extended horizontal format emphasizes the length and directional movement of the fish. Multiple coats of gloss polyurethane seal the piece, creating a durable finish with depth and reflective sheen.

The wood is reclaimed from excess material provided by a Louisville-based architecture and cabinetry studio, giving renewed purpose to quality material that would otherwise go unused.
