It is made of 100% ring-spun cotton with a density of 6.1 oz/yd² (US) or 10 oz/L yd (CA) and has a thread quality of 30.
Soft ring-spun cotton fabric offers durability and long-lasting comfort with 100% cotton threads.
Since the t-shirt is garment-dyed, it provides a vintage look and has virtually no shrinkage in the house.
Pigment dye colors are achieved using clear pigment dyes that do not contain salt, and each garment may show its own unique slight color gradations. 
Reactive dye colors, on the other hand, offer the same softness as a traditional dyeing look.
While pigment dyes consist of insoluble color particles that adhere to the fabric surface, reactive dyes provide a classic coloring.

The most critical feature that distinguishes Comfort Colors 1717: The T-shirt is produced using pigment dyeing and garment-dyed methods.
These techniques give the t-shirt a unique vintage look, making each t-shirt have a unique texture and color tone.
While the colors stand the test of time and washes, each t-shirt exhibits a slight fade, adding to the "worn" aesthetic of the product.
