Hi! I just got done making this dress and wanted to leave some notes for anyone this could help. So this was my fault, but I had limited main fabric and used a different facing fabric. If you decide to do the same, pay attention to the symmetry in which things are cut out because the front bodices are both labeled left. Which won't matter if you're using the same fabric for both, or if your fabric is printed on both sides. Also, the size 42 sleeves did not fit around my arm, and when joining the sleeves to the shoulders, there was too much sleeve fabric to fit into the armhole. There's also no bodice notches to match the sleeve notches, so I drafted a different sleeve pattern. Otherwise, the design is beautiful, and the visuals were very helpful! With a few tweaks it's a gorgeous new piece for spring. Thank you!
Such a well thought out pattern. Approx int level, there is lots of detail and some of it fiddly however between the written instructions and the YouTube tutorial I managed to knock this out in a day. The overall fit was spot on. I took about 10cm off the hips (5 per side) because I sit between sizes and kept the extra material on the skirt bustles which added more volume (love the result). So far I’ve only made my toile but I love the result so much that I’m not sure I even need to make one from the good material. Will be following this maker for sure

I struggled with this dress a little bit as an advanced beginner. It definitely isn’t a quick sew, but I think the pattern is really solid. I hand sewed the bias piping as I found that easier than using my machine.

Is not even an intermediate level pattern, I'm glad you tried though!
I don't think this pattern is AI like many commenters seem to. I made the dress and watched the tutorial video and the designer is clearly talented, going by the construction and final product. All that being said -- the photos are stolen from the Amlul Monique dress. I would also not call this a 'Japandi' inspired dress as it clearly draws from Chinese cheongsam / qipao. The pattern omits steps critical to a nicer final product like clipping curves and contoured darts, grading seam allowances, understitching the lining, staystitching curves, and basting sleeve layers. I am not regretful I spent the money on this pattern though.
