Vintage FRENCH TAPESTRY WOVEN BLANKET / VERDURE WALL TAPESTRY. Bring French country decor home with this reproduction of "Verdure with Château and Garden" (Katharine Ghuys 1738–1778). Verdure wall tapestries were popular in the 15th to 18th centuries in affluent European homes.
Remastered by hand to achieve a higher degree of detail, including the artist's signature "LAVEUVE DE G WERNIERS L ⚜️ F" and original ornate border which are often omitted in other reproductions.
