Handmade necklace with clay beads baked directly in a bonfire, shaped one by one with the fingers.
Inspired by Neolithic, Iberian, Celtiberian and primitive jewelry.

Before gold, there was land.
Before the ornamentation, there was protection.

Each account is different. Some have branding.
Others look like fossils, seeds, or rocks.
I cooked them over an open fire, as was done before ovens existed, as they did in the Neolithic period more than 10,000 years ago.

It is a piece designed to remind us of where we come from.

For this I have been inspired by ancient Iberian jewelry, such as that found in sites in the Valencian Country (Bastida de les Alcusses, Olocau, Benicarló).

It could be a loose replica of a Celtiberian or Iberian necklace:
Simple shapes, primitive markings, unglazed clay, baked in a bonfire of olive wood for more than four hours.
