These Portraits in oil and wax are created with a direct approach, using my hands and fingers along with palette knives and oil sticks to achieve expressions and forms.

Sealed with a thin lay of Cold Wax to seal the piece and act as a Matte Varnish.
No Signature can be found on the front as to not distract from he design of the artwork.
Signed in The Artist's Shorthand Signature, 'M' etched into the pigment on lower corner.

This artwork ships unframed - it is advised and recommended to frame this work with matting under glass. The matting is a very important part of protecting the work as this work should not be framed directly against the glass - it may damage the wax and pigment over time.
