📥 How and where can I download my digital files?

To access your digital patterns, please log in to Etsy using a web browser on your computer or laptop (the Etsy mobile app does not support direct downloads). 1. Go to the top right corner and click on your profile photo (You). 2. Select Purchases and reviews. 3. Find your order from FriendlyPatternsShop and click the Download Files button next to it. Additionally, Etsy automatically sends an automated email containing a direct download link right after your payment is processed. If you can’t find it, please check your Spam or Promotions folder!

🧵 Do your sewing patterns include seam allowances?

Yes, absolutely! To make your cutting process as smooth as possible, seam allowances are already integrated into every single pattern piece. Since different seams and designs require different widths, the exact seam allowance measurements for your specific project are always clearly detailed in your instruction booklet. To give you ultimate control, our patterns display both the cutting line and the stitching line. This dual-line system allows you to easily make precise adjustments and see exactly how the finished garment will come together.

🔒 Why am I being prompted for a password to open the file?

All of our digital patterns are password-protected against editing and modification to secure our intellectual property from copyright infringement. You do not need a password to view, use, or print the patterns. However, if you attempt to open the files using design software like Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, or CorelDraw, the system will ask for a password. To use the files correctly (including switching size layers on and off), simply open them using the free Adobe Acrobat Reader. It allows you to read, manage layers, and print without any restrictions. Complete guidance on how to do this is included in your instruction booklet!

📐 Can I request a custom pattern or size adjustments?

At this time, FriendlyPatternsShop focuses exclusively on our curated collection of ready-to-sew digital designs. Fixed sizes are developed to fit standard size charts beautifully. Unfortunately, we do not offer custom pattern drafting, individual modifications, or bespoke design services. Every pattern we have available is fully listed in our shop!

Lana is an oversize straight silhouette hoodie. The front has a central zipper that ends at the bust line; from the wrong side the zipper has the triangle insert. The front and back features horizontal yokes and design seam lines. The hoodie has a dropped shoulder and full-lenght sleeves. The three-piece drawstring hood has a separate lining. The bottom of the sleeves is finished with fitted cuffs. The hem is finished with a hem facing. The cuffs are made of ribbing.
