This is an STL for 3D printing.
✒️ SIZE: This texture roller takes ~20ml of resin to print! It’s 4 inches tall and a few millimeters in width.
✒️ These rollers are designed by me to be as thin possible while remaining sturdy enough to use in your clay projects, saving a lot of resin and letting you see the texture you'll be rolling on the inside of the tube.
✒️ What Do I Get?
You will receive an instantly downloadable STL file through Google Drive. Just open the txt and copy/paste the link.
✒️ Printing Instructions:
Printing in resin is highly recommended. These rollers are very detailed and may not imprint as well as you see in the thumbnail if not printed in resin at a 50um layer height (0.05mm). I recommend Sunlu ABS like resin for flexibility and sturdiness, but I've printed these rollers in more brittle resins as well and haven't yet had a problem.
Support with lots of small or preferably medium supports around the bottom of the roller, as seen in the images above.
Ignore your slicer’s request to repair the model! It will print fine, and will make some errors in the process of fixing.
✒️ (USE ON FOOD AT YOUR OWN RISK. Resin is toxic and should not touch food even when cured. You could try putting something between the roller and your delicious eats, like clingwrap, but even then I would be very cautious not to tear the clingwrap.)
