What to know

This box made from pine is built to serve as an offering vessel for Norse Pagan rituals and blots, blessings, and spells. Pine is said to be one of the oldest plants in history and often serves as a symbol of "endurance" in magical applications. Though it's wood is notably soft, it's spirit has endured throughout time. As such, this offering box is a symbol to spirits, sprites, and deities that your commitment will endure as well.

I commonly use offering boxes to write and contain a scrap of paper with my written commitment to the entities my ritual evokes. Keeping that scrap within the box, sometimes adding several commitments at one time as a means of self improvement or manifesting change in the world. It's also a pleasant addition to a family room, where guests can declare there wishes and contain them within the box for the web of Wyrd to use as inspiration.

The wood is hand burned by myself and stained with a finish to evoke feelings of ancestral Nordic mead halls and longhouses.

This box, adorned with a hand designed runic depiction of a Raven is meant to honor those who follow it's path. Those who believe in intelligence, loyalty, independence, and cunning.

This altar box is amazing- it is well-crafted, beautifully decorated, and spiritually meaningful. The runes are burned in by an incredibly steady hand. Also, a feather was tucked into the package in honor of this box. Speaking of packaging, I purchased several items: all were arranged carefully and thoughtfully together, with dried herbs (the smell was delightful!), twine and perfectly crafted and treated tags, black tissue paper, a natural cloth (that also smelled lovely) and even a silky black cloth adorned the box itself. The overall effect is STUNNING. Just opening the package felt like a ritual. I am very grateful to these people and grateful to have found this shop! Shipping was a breeze; they also opened communication immediately with a welcoming and approachable vibe. I will absolutely return here.
