Highlights
Vintage massive, heavy silver alloy torque, necklace choker from the Lambadi or Banjara people of Andhra Pradesh, India.
No idea how much silver there is in it.
This midcentury piece was part of the wedding jewllery and was worn by married women as a sign of being married.
The choker comprises a round tube that widens at the ends and are wrapped with silver wire.
The torque ends with around loop
in the front that acts as a lock and has three groups of chains that are suspended.

Pendants height 17cm/6.5"
Weigth 450g
The end of some of the pendant chains are missing, please check photos carefully, but the choker it is overall in good vintage condition.
