There was an interim Ukrainian currency often referred to as "coupons" or "coupon-karbovanets." It was used in Ukraine following the collapse of the USSR and until the introduction of the hryvnia.

In brief about Ukrainian coupons:
Official Name: Coupon-karbovanets.
Period of Circulation: 1992–1996.
Reason for Introduction: After gaining independence, Ukraine needed its own currency; however, the process of creating the hryvnia and the economic situation necessitated a temporary monetary substitute.
Features:
High inflation during those years led to continuously increasing denominations.
The terms "coupon" and "karbovanets" were used interchangeably, so you often see banknotes with the inscription "Coupon" and the denomination in karbovanets.
Replacement by the Hryvnia: In September 1996, a monetary reform was conducted, and the coupon-karbovanets were withdrawn from circulation, replaced by the hryvnia at a ratio of 100,000 karbovanets = 1 hryvnia.

Uncirculated (UNC) - Extremely Fine (XF): Banknotes 1, 3, 5, 10, 50, 100 (orange), 200, 500, 1000, 5000, 10 000, 20 000, 50 000, 100 000 in perfect сondition.
Extremely Fine (XF) - Very Fine (VF): Banknotes 25, 100 (brown), 2000 have some stains.
Very Fine (VF): Banknotes 200 000, 500 000, 1 000 000 have a higher degree of wear.
