None the less this does not take away from the comfort and security your cat will feel with our cat caves, either snuggling inside the cave on cold days or plopping on top used as a mat for warm summer days. This is some nice thickly felted fabric, and great colors (I ordered 'pink'). My cat immediately jumped in, and decided to undertake a vigorous a claw sharpening session inside - I checked in afterward and could see no sign of damage from his workout. He also loves to go in there and pose with his head out, sometime front feet over the front edge - he looks cozy, happy, and adorable. Seller also included a felted little ball in a coordinating color, and he really loves playing with that. Great purchase!!
