My order is showing delivered, but why haven't I received it?

This is a common occurrence with USPS and tracking through Pitney Bowes. It appears that packages are scanned at the facility before being loaded onto the delivery truck. As a result, the item may take up to three days to actually be delivered.

My order is still showing "in transit" status, and it has been several days.

With USPS shipping and Pitney Bowes tracking, packages are not scanned at every destination. In some cases, they may only be scanned at pickup and again at the delivery destination. Tracking updates may include statuses such as "Out for Delivery" and "Delivered," but there may be gaps in tracking along the way.

Why doesn't my tracking number work on the USPS website?

Your tracking number won’t work on the USPS website because Etsy partners with Pitney Bowes. Tracking information is only available through Etsy and may not update as frequently as standard USPS tracking. To view tracking on a First-Class flat or letter sent with an Etsy shipping label: In Shop Manager, select Orders & Shipping. Find the order you’re interested in. Choose the tracking number. You will receive tracking emails, and can access your tracking information through your Purchase on Etsy.com or the Etsy app.
