PINNACLE24 ~ Cyber Shark chassis kit Scx24 based RETRO!

Nunbers 31/32/33 ! I call this one the “Retro Shark” these are heat treated stainless rails to get a dark burnt look. Heat marks will differ from actual images, each set will be unique. (Colours may be lighter or a different shade) but the plastic colourway will be identical to these pictures.


UPDATED PLASTICS! and 9 grams dropped out of the rails as they’re now 1.5mm not 2mm thick. This version of the Cyber Shark is an overall 10grams lighter!

1: Roof has been re designed, I have moved the cut out slightly to the centre and lowered it as well as opened up the hole for longer motors, it now has maximum clearance underneath and an extra mounting hole at the rear with bracing on the hinge section.

2: Rear chassis brace now has a built in rubber band mount with thicker sides to allow more bite for shock screws.

3: Carrier bearing mount has been trimmed right down for maximum clearance.

4: Now included are two slim sliders.

5:Printed link set included in either silver or black PLA +. Pivot balls not included, use (Injora flanged pivot balls)


Here we have a one of a kind chassis, based of the hilly New Zealand country side and this is where the name Pinnacle 24 comes from this is the new and improved CYBER SHARK next generation of the original Pinnacle24 chassis.

Chassis Specs

* Rails are laser cut from 304 Stainless steel at 1.5mm thick with 2mm holes throughout the chassis, all plastic pieces are 3d printed in PETG to withstand most conditions.

* A very unique skid design with a huge 35 degree plus! more concave angle for optimum breakover angle with built in front slider to prevent as many hang ups as possible.

* 15mm wide sliders with a huge high clearance design and clearanced cut outs for outboard links, I recommend running inboard on this chassis.

* Outboard mounting positions for that extra planted performance we all look for in a micro crawler.

* Rails are based around the Tattu 300mah batteries to slot right in behind the servo for best weight distribution and not interfere with mounting body’s - Small Palm Beach batteries also fit.

* Centre of chassis has multiple holes for cab only mounting as well as mounting for the included carrier bearing mount ( designed for stock scx24 gearbox mainshaft and bearings to be installed and secured with two small m1.4 screws 3/4mm long.

Have fun with different length links, recommended lengths for the 165-175mm wheelbase but the fun thing about this chassis is it’s also a beast on the Meus D90 link set making this sit at 153-156mm wheel base, this option allows for the carrier bearing to be removed and still have exceptional clearance.

(Additional Information)

* When assembling, avoid using an electric screwdriver. Instead, tighten the screws by hand, each hole has been fine tuned to allow for a nice bite on the screws.

* Due to the 3D printed nature of the printed pieces, the image may vary from the actual product along with the rails being laser cut, they’re not flawless but pretty close to it once you get it on the rocks you won’t be disappointed about some small imperfections.

(Recommended set up)

• gearbox - Injora Scx24 metal gearbox
• Links - Meus D90 or custom, designed for deadbolt front links and 100mm rears but D90s still party!

• 40mm Injora big bore shocks up front and RcLion 33mm rear shocks to keep it from unloading on step descents 40mm all round is fine if that’s all you have.

• Deadbolt front driveshaft, Gladiator rear if using D90 links.

• Custom length - you probably know what your doing with driveshaft lengths.

• Battery- chassis is designed around a Tattu 300mah 3s battery to utilise its weight and keep it as far forward and low as possible.

• Motor and esc - Injora purple viper and a Hobbywing mini24 esc or something the same in size.

• Transmitter and receiver - Flysky GT5 with a 4 channel receiver.
