Whenever available, your order will also include an info card specific to your specimen! Please note that some raw minerals are naturally fragile — especially Celestite and Malachite, which can flake or shed small crumbs when handled. This is completely normal and not a result of shipping damage — it’s simply the nature of these delicate stones.

Yes! These rocks and minerals are ethically sourced from across Africa, including Angola, Congo, Madagascar, Malawi, Mozambique, Namibia, South Africa, Eswatini, Zambia, and Zimbabwe. Sourcing practices focus on nature conservation — most specimens come from small hand-dug deposits with minimal environmental impact. Heavy machinery is rarely used, so trees are preserved, and the few remaining dig sites often become natural water holes for wildlife. This sustainable approach helps prevent deforestation, desertification, and pollution, while supporting nearly 1,000 small-scale miners and their communities.

Absolutely! I happily allow cherry-picking — you’re welcome to choose the exact piece that calls to you. Just send me a quick message here on Etsy, and I’ll share photos or videos (videos through email) of the available specimens so you can pick your favorite. Example message: “Hi!
