I made these boxes from a weathered fence that was headed for the local Landfill. The wood was perfectly weathered and rustic. The wood has imperfections (see photos) which adds to the rustic feel. Each box has been painted with what I call a wash of paint so that the weathered wood is slightly visible. After painting them I sanded off the edges for a more rustic look. The handles were salvaged from a piece of furniture that I couldn't save. : (
Each Box is approximately 6" square x 3 1/4" tall. The inside dimensions are approximately 4 5/8" square x 2 5/8" deep. These are not exact but very close.
