The shell has an excellent build quality! It looks great. It feels great and can be worn for extended periods of time without squeezing my head. Though after taking my head measurements several times, it feels uncomfortable to open my jaw any wider than is necessary for speaking at room volume. As long as you don't need to shout while wearing the shell, you'll be fine. Maybe size up a little when giving face length measurements.
