Why did I get my order in an Amazon box?

I keep every single box and wrapping item that I receive. I am a big believer in recycling and sustainability, so I reuse boxes and packing materials to send your items to you. I only use the things that are in premium usable shape. The others get recycled.

Where do you find your vintage items?

A good deal of them have come from my own collection or a family collection. I also go to estate sales and choose unique items I think my customers will like. Many times, I take a chance and buy something that needs some TLC, as I really love restoring items that have been neglected over the years.

Do you guarantee the high quality of your items?

Oh yes. I will let nothing go out of my shop that is not up to my high standards and yours. Many vintage items have wear, and I make sure to disclose that in my listings. You will never receive something from me that is misrepresented. That is my promise to you.

Custom and personalized orders

I do occasionally offer items that can be personalized but most of the items in my shop are unique and one-of-a-kind vintage items and are not personalized. There are some exceptions, and they will be noted and clearly explained in the listing.

Gift wrapping and packaging

I always offer customized gift wrapping, all year round. Customized means that, if you request it, I will personalize it for you. You pick the type (box, bag, presentation), the colors, and any special "garnishes" (ribbons, bows, tissue paper, etc.) and I will make create a professional gift for you.

I do everything I can to keep shipping costs reasonable, and I do not do markups on actual shipping costs. Some of my items are heavy and/or require a large box in order to protect the contents. I will always combine shipping for you for multiple purchases. Sometimes, Etsy over-calculates combined item purchases automatically. Not to worry! I have the final say! I ALWAYS refund any shipping overages charged. Feel free to message me with any questions.

How can I be sure my fragile items will arrive undamaged?

Because they will. I use lots of protective packaging, including bubblewrap, packing peanuts, space pillows, etc. I have received so many broken items over the years that I have learned that there is no such thing as too much cushion. Seriously, if I can't drop or toss your package, I won't ship it out. That's how sure I am that your items will not be damaged during shipment. Even though I can't guarantee the treatment of packages once they leave my hands, I make sure that it would take something like a sledgehammer to break the contents!

Do you guarantee working condition of your vintage watches?

I do guarantee that every watch I sell in my shop is in working order. I test wind-up watches multiple times to be sure they keep time consistently and accurately every time. All battery-run watches will have new batteries when they are shipped to the buyer. I cannot guarantee the length of time they will continue working or when they might need a new battery. I do not sell watches that do not meet very high standards of operational health. If you have trouble with one you receive, please contact me immediately and we will work together to find a solution.

Can I request another shipping option besides USPS?

ABsolutely. Etsy only allows me to select one service as my "preferred" (and apparently ONLY) shipping type offered. I understand that some areas are better and more easily served by other options, such as Fed Ex or UPS, so please let me know if you would like to use a service besides USPS. You will still have to select a USPS service at checkout, but I can use another service and refund any differences there may be.

Gift wrapping

Vintage animal print tortoise shell art glass perfume bottle with black and gold atomizer in excellent vintage condition. It is a stunning example of modern art glass with a similar feel and design of classic Murano glass. There are no chips, scratches, or other imperfections, but the seam is visible on the gold part of the top of the bottle. Just display it to the back. :)

The bottle measures 7" tall X 2 1/2" at its widest part. It would make a gorgeous addition to a perfume bottle collection or for display on your vanity or dresser.
