Paint or paper can be applied after the surface has been sanded and primed. For synthetic and thinned oil paints, a conversion primer should be applied and then wallpaper should be applied.

I Want to Apply Wallpaper Myself, Which Glue Should I Use?

The quality of the glue is important for the wallpaper application to give the right result. Excess glue overflowing from the joints and wiping with excessive force can damage the wallpaper. Lumos Wallpapers recommends Optima wallpaper glue. Cellulose-based Optima is suitable for all wallpapers.

- Please make sure to get your wall measurements correct.
- Only wallpaper is included in the package; auxiliary materials such as glue are not included for customs reasons.
- Non-woven and textured papers are applied with water-based glue and the wall surface must be moisture absorbent.
- Wait at least 15 days before applying to freshly painted walls.

Colors may vary depending on device screen settings. Therefore, there may be tonal differences between the colors that appear in the digital environment and the actual product.

- The application surface must be clean, dry and free of dust.
- There should be no silicone, oil or dirt residue on the surface.
- After applying the adhesive, the parts can be partially glued to the wall for correct alignment. In case of incorrect positioning, they can be carefully removed and glued again.
- Products fully glued to the wall are not reused, but can be removed if necessary.
