I made this vase and its head with stoneware clay, giving it a sturdy body that resists fragility better than earthenware. I threw the form on the pottery wheel and shaped it with hand-added details.

I coated it in a food-safe, lead-free glaze, so you can use it with confidence every day. It’s completely dishwasher safe — both beautiful and practical.

The inner part of the head has a fine hairline crack, which you can’t see from the outside and doesn’t affect its function or look. Because of this small imperfection, I’m offering the piece at a discounted price.
