Handmade necklace with baked clay beads, shaped and pierced one by one with the fingers. No two are alike.
Inspired by Neolithic, Iberian, Celtiberian and primitive jewelry.
Before gold, there was land.
Before the ornamentation, there was protection.
Each account is different. Some have branding.
Others look like fossils, seeds, or rocks.
I cooked them over an open fire, the way they were done before ovens existed.
Pieces dried in the sun and then cooked over a direct fire, with olive wood, on Mother Earth.
It is a piece designed to be worn against the skin.

For them I have been inspired by ancient Iberian jewelry, such as that found in archaeological sites in the Valencian Country (Bastida de les Alcusses, Olocau, Benicarló) as well as by pre-Hispanic necklaces from Guatemala
It could be a loose replica of an Iberian necklace:
simple shapes, primitive marks, unglazed clay, fired in the air.
