Frames Are Not Included - Follow These Framing Tips

Frames are not included, and I’m currently unable to offer framing services. Because these prints are created on authentic antique book pages, their sizes can vary slightly. However, each artwork is carefully designed so that the page can be trimmed to fit a standard 8x10 inch frame. Need trimming tips? Just send me a message, I’m happy to share easy step-by-step advice to help you get a perfect fit. Framing suggestions: The easiest and most budget-friendly option is a ready-made 8x10 frame. Want something more eye-catching? A frame with a 3-inch wide border and complimentary matting adds an elegant, gallery-style look. No matter your choice, these prints are easy to frame and display beautifully in a variety of styles and settings.

The unframed 125+ year old dictionary pages are approximately 8x11 inches but the artwork is configured for 8x10 frames should that be your preference. The top and bottom of the pages have generous margins and can easily be trimmed to fit the 8x10 frames which come in a wider and more fashionable variety than 8x11 document frames. The 110+ year old music pages are a bit larger but, again, the unframed artwork is configured to fit 8x10 frames should you decide to trim the pages to fit. I rarely have orders go missing but if they do it's usually because a carrier left it in an unexpected spot. My packages are large (9x12 or 10x13) white envelopes with bright red PLEASE DO NOT BEND stamps. They do not fit in standard sized residential mailboxes. Is there a safe place that your carrier usually leaves over-sized mail? Or could a family member have picked it up and placed it on the kitchen counter or the backseat of their car? Bring a touch of dark mythology into your home with this Medusa art print on an antique dictionary page. This unique piece blends vintage book art with gothic illustration, making it perfect for fans of Greek mythology, dark academia, and eclectic gothic decor. My original illustration of Medusa in a garden with snakes, rabbits, deer, and ravens. Each print is made from authentic 125+ year-old dictionary pages, giving every piece its own distinctive character and history.

The set of dictionaries that I work with currently I found on the "Free To A Good Home" table at a local Friends of the Library sale. Published in 1897, this four volume leather bound set was very much out of date and in poor shape. Sadly, the books were destined for the ash heap of history (aka the local landfill.)

I couldn't let them be destroyed and I hoped that others would love and appreciate their beauty as much as I did. Now the history of these books and the beautiful patina of their worn and well-loved pages add a timeless dimension to your new artwork.

The dictionary page is from an antique dictionary of the English language printed in 1897. The actual printed page you will receive will be selected from the same set of antique dictionaries.

Incredibly executed print! Love the various selection and the idea. I got this Medusa print, and was hoping the dictionary words would be related somehow, and this creator did NOT disappoint!! The dictionary page it was printed on was focused on the word serpent (and a bunch of related words). So cool. Love it so much that I ordered more prints. Fast shipping so I could enjoy immediately. LOVE!
