Yes — I offer custom sizing on most existing designs, along with access to additional fabric colors that may not always be listed in the shop. If you have a specific use case or item you’re trying to fit, I’m happy to help dial in the right size. Because each custom piece is made specifically for you, all custom orders are final sale and not eligible for returns or exchanges. Every item is cut, sewn, and finished by hand, and I take great care to match the listed dimensions as closely as possible. That said, due to the handmade nature of the process, slight variations may occur. These are typically very minor and won’t affect the overall fit or function. Each piece is built one at a time — so while you can expect consistency, you’re also getting a truly unique item made with attention to detail.

For best results, we recommend hand washing and air drying only. Use a mild detergent, and always test a small, inconspicuous area first before cleaning the entire item. Avoid harsh chemicals, machine washing, or high heat, as these can affect fabric coatings, structure, and color over time. With proper care, your gear will continue to perform and look great through years of use in the field or everyday carry.

Every item is handmade one at a time in our in-house studio, allowing for a high level of craftsmanship, quality control, and attention to detail. This process ensures each piece meets our standards, but it also means we’re not set up for large-scale production runs. Our focus is on building durable, premium gear — not mass-producing it.

Are your products really handmade?

How long will my order take to ship?

Most Weston Gear items ship within 5–7 business days. Because everything is made to order, your item is crafted specifically for you — not pulled from a shelf. This ensures you receive a freshly built piece with full attention to detail. During busier times, processing may take slightly longer, but I always aim to get orders out as quickly as possible without compromising quality. You’ll receive tracking as soon as your order ships.

What materials do you use?

We use only premium, field-tested materials trusted in outdoor and technical applications. This includes X-Pac®, UltraGrid™, Cordura®, and high-performance liners selected for durability and function. Every pouch is paired with YKK® zippers, reinforced stitching, and carefully chosen components to ensure long-term reliability. These materials are chosen not just for looks, but for how they perform in real-world conditions — from daily carry to backcountry use.

Are your pouches waterproof?

Most pouches are designed to be highly water-resistant, with many featuring seam-taped construction for added protection. They perform extremely well in rain, splashes, and damp trail conditions. While they are not intended for full submersion, they are built to protect your gear in real-world environments where moisture is a factor. If you need help choosing the most water-resistant option, feel free to reach out.

What size should I choose?

Choosing the right size depends on what you plan to carry. Keep in mind that the zipper reduces the usable opening by about ½ inch, and bulkier items may require extra height or depth to fit comfortably. If you’re packing something specific, it’s always better to size slightly up for easier access. If you’re unsure, just send me a message with what you plan to store — I’m happy to recommend the best fit based on real-world use.

Do the colors look exactly like the photos?

I do my best to represent colors as accurately as possible, but slight variations can occur due to screen settings, lighting, and fabric dye batches. Some materials may also appear slightly different in natural light versus indoor lighting. While the overall look and tone will remain consistent, minor differences are part of working with premium technical fabrics.
