What leather do you use?

All pieces are made from full-grain vegetable-tanned leather — sourced from Tärnsjö Garveri in Sweden and premium Italian tanneries. This is the highest quality leather available: it's never corrected or sanded down, so it develops a beautiful natural patina over time with use. No bonded leather, no synthetic materials.

Will the leather look exactly like in the photos?

Each hide is unique — there may be slight natural variations in texture, shade, or grain. This is a feature of genuine full-grain leather, not a flaw. The color and character will also deepen and improve as the leather ages and develops its patina.

Do you use ''Genuine Leather''?

Technically, "genuine leather" is actually one of the lowest grades on the leather quality scale — it's a marketing term often used for heavily processed scraps that peel and crack over time. All LeatherNGrain pieces are made from ''Full-grain'' ''Vegetable-tanned'' leather — the highest grade available. So no, not "genuine leather." Something considerably better.

How to get an Invoice if I order in behalf of a Company?

Handmade full-grain leather handbag handles with screws for quick no-sew fitting. Ideal for crochet, knitted and tote bags; hardware included.

◆◆◆ Hides used for these handles are Premium, Vegetable tanned, Full grain leather, that will last for decades. (Just a quick educational stop - the term ''Genuine Leather'' sounds premium, but it's often far from the best. Many don’t know it, but it ranks lower than Full Grain leather in quality, so if you want best leather products, always chose ones labeled ''Full Grain'').
This leather is incredibly sturdy and durable, because it's originally intended for equestrian sports, so it makes perfect sense to use it for everyday bags, also this leather won't stretch much over time.
It's very rare to find handles made from this kind of quality leather, thinner leather will soon stretch and look pathetic.
Also don't worry, if at the first sight leather will be a little stiff, when you will start to use it, it will become more flexible, it's what makes them really sustainable.
These leather handles are made by me, in my workshop, from Equestrian-grade, Full grain, Vegetable-tanned leather. I get this leather from Sweden's tannery ''Tärnsjö Garveri'' (feel free to check their website and see how one of the best leathers in world are made).

- Strip width in pictures - 3/4'' (2 cm),
can also be made 5/8'' (1.6 cm) or 1'' (2.5 cm) wide, for narrower or wider handles - please message me first.
- Thickness 10-11oz (4-4.5 mm) - leather that will work very well for long handles!
- Length 16-40'' (0.4-1.4m) - choose from drop down list!
