Making Process
• Material Sourcing: The rug is crafted from 100% sustainably sourced New Zealand wool. The wool is selected for its quality, durability and natural feel.
• Hand-Tufting: Skilled artisans meticulously hand-tuft the wool to create the abstract pattern and a durable, medium pile surface.

Coloring Process
• Natural Dyes: The wool is dyed using a traditional, natural technique.
• Boiling Process: Wood is burned in a furnace (bhatti) to heat a large vessel of water to a high temperature, between 90-100 degrees Celsius.
• Dyeing: Natural pigments are added to the boiling water. The New Zealand wool is then submerged in this heated, naturally colored water to ensure a rich and long lasting dye.

Finishing Process
• Pile Trimming: Once the tufting and dyeing are complete, the pile is carefully trimmed by hand to achieve a uniform height and a smooth, even finish.
• Backing Application: A sturdy backing is applied to the rug to protect the knots, provide stability, and prevent slipping.

Packaging Process
• Rolling: The rug is carefully rolled to prevent creasing and to make it easy to transport.
• Wrapping: It is then wrapped in protective material to shield it from moisture and damage during shipping.
• Final Inspection: Before being sent out, each rug undergoes a final quality check to ensure it meets the highest standards.

Essential Care Instructions
• Vacuuming: Vacuum regularly (1-2 times per week) to prevent dirt from settling deep into the fibers. Use a vacuum with a plain suction head or set the beater bar to a high-pile setting to avoid damaging the fibers.
• Spot Cleaning: For spills, blot immediately with a clean, dry cloth. Do not rub, as this can spread the stain. For stubborn spots, use a small amount of mild soap and water, testing on an inconspicuous area first.
• Professional Cleaning: A full, deep cleaning should be done by a professional rug cleaner every 1 3 years, depending on traffic.
• Placement: Place a rug pad underneath to prevent slipping, provide cushioning, and protect the floor underneath.
