Milking Stool, Reclaimed Pine Scaffold Board Side Table

This milking stool is a reclaimed pine accent table with a wax finish and traditional slatted-leg design. Made for use as a rustic side table, small bedside table, bathroom table, or display stand, it brings a compact wooden surface to living spaces. Choose from five finish options and two sizes, including the approximately 40cm × 21cm × 50cm standard size.

Our small rustic accent table is crafted from sustainable reclaimed pine in the style of a traditional milking stool. It blends rustic beauty with practical design. Perfect as a small display table, a bathroom table, or even as a side table next to your sofa or bed.

Every BOTHY table is a one-of-a-kind piece made from reclaimed timbers. The materials used retain the natural character of reclaimed wood, including the tree’s grain, splits, knots, and evidence of the wood’s previous life.

Each table is carefully assembled using concealed joinery, plugged with solid wood dowels, with no visible screws or hardware.

Wood Character & Natural Variations

Because our shelves are handcrafted from authentic reclaimed timber, every single piece carries its own unique history and charm.

What to Expect:

Natural Features: Your shelf may feature original saw marks, splits, cracks, nail holes, knots, and subtle weathering.

One-of-a-Kind Grain: No two boards absorb finish or wax in the exact same way—colour shades and grain patterns will vary naturally.

Structural Integrity: These natural character marks are purely rustic surface details and do not affect the strength or durability of the shelf.

Note: By purchasing reclaimed timber, you are choosing a truly unique piece with individual character. Returns or exchanges are not accepted for natural wood traits such as knots, grain variations, or historic split markings.

Finish:
The BOTHY is finished in one of our 4 durable wax finishes. If you'd prefer to customize the finish yourself, choose the Unfinished option, and we’ll send the unit ready for you to paint or stain to your own colour preference

Standard dimensions are approximately 40cm long, 21cm wide, and 50cm tall. Also available at 40cm tall and 50cm long.

Please note: BOTHY accent tables are for decorative and display purposes only, and are not intended for sitting on.
