Cook at 14,000 feet like you're at sea level.
Here's a problem most people don't know they have until they're standing on a mountain with a pot of rice that won't cook: water boils at a lower temperature as you gain elevation. At 5,000 feet, your boiling point drops to about 203°F. At 10,000 feet, it's 194°F. At 14,000 feet, it's barely 187°F. That's not hot enough to cook rice, pasta, or most meals properly. Food comes out crunchy, undercooked, or takes twice as long on twice as much fuel.
The Valtcan 1800ml Titanium Pressure Pot solves this. The 35 kPa locking lid system raises the internal pressure, which raises the effective boiling point back to where it needs to be. Perfect rice at base camp. Tender stew at the summit. Properly cooked meals wherever you are - altitude doesn't matter anymore.
And it's made entirely from Grade 1 titanium.
𝗪𝗛𝗬 𝗧𝗛𝗜𝗦 𝗣𝗢𝗧 𝗘𝗫𝗜𝗦𝗧𝗦
Most camping pots are just containers you boil water in. This one actually pressure cooks. The 45-degree twist-lock lid creates an airtight seal that maintains a constant 35 kPa (5 PSI) of pressure. That does three things no regular camp pot can do:
→ Cooks food faster. Pressure cooking cuts time dramatically - perfect rice in 15–20 minutes instead of 30+.
→ Cooks food properly at altitude. The pressurized environment compensates for the lower boiling point. No more crunchy rice above treeline.
→ Uses less fuel. Faster cooking = less stove time = less fuel weight on your back. For thru-hikers counting every gram, this matters.
𝗛𝗢𝗪 𝗧𝗢 𝗖𝗢𝗢𝗞 𝗣𝗘𝗥𝗙𝗘𝗖𝗧 𝗥𝗜𝗖𝗘
Add rice to the removable inner pot. Pour water to the corresponding graduated measurement line - no measuring cups needed.
Place inner pot inside the outer pot. Twist the lid 45 degrees to lock. Heat on medium-high until steam vents from the pressure valve.
Reduce heat slightly. Cook for 15–20 minutes.
Let the pot cool naturally, or carefully release pressure by turning the valve counter-clockwise 1–2 turns. Wait for all steam to release before unlocking.
Fluffy, perfectly steamed rice. At camp. At altitude. Every time.
The same method works for soups, stews, quinoa, pasta, braised meats, and one-pot meals. If it can be pressure cooked, this pot handles it.
𝗪𝗛𝗬 𝗧𝗜𝗧𝗔𝗡𝗜𝗨𝗠
→ Zero metallic taste. Grade 1 titanium is biologically inert - it doesn't react with food or water. Your meals taste like food, not metal. Aluminum camp pots can't say this. Stainless steel can't either.
→ Ultralight. Titanium delivers the strength of steel at a fraction of the weight. Every ounce matters on the trail, and this pot shaves real weight compared to stainless steel pressure cookers that do the same job at 2–3x the mass.
→ Corrosion-immune. Titanium doesn't rust, pit, or corrode. No anodized coatings to wear off. No special care needed. This pot will look and perform the same in 20 years.
→ No coatings. The cooking surface is pure titanium - no PTFE, no ceramic, no chemicals. Nothing between the heat and your food except the same metal used in aerospace engineering and surgical implants.
→ Dishwasher safe. Remove the handles and valve, place in the dishwasher. Or hand wash with soap. Titanium doesn't care.

Outer pot - 1800ml Grade 1 titanium with foldable handles

Aluminum camp pots: No pressure system. Reactive with acidic foods. Anodized coating wears off. Leaches metals. Dents easily.
Stainless steel pressure pots: Yes, they pressure cook - but they weigh 2–3x more. Try carrying one up a mountain. Some alloys also react with food over extended use.
Generic titanium pots: Lightweight and non-reactive, but none of them pressure cook. They're just expensive open pots. The Valtcan 1800ml is the only ultralight titanium pot with a real 35 kPa pressure system and built-in rice cooker.

This isn't just a backpacking pot. The pressure cooking system makes it genuinely useful everywhere:
Backcountry camping - real meals, not just rehydrated bags
High-altitude base camps - rice, pasta, and stews cook properly above treeline
Thru-hiking - pressure cooking saves fuel, which saves pack weight
Van life / overlanding - compact, durable, works on any stove
Home kitchen - works on gas and electric ranges for everyday rice and one-pot meals
Emergency preparedness - cooks without electricity on any open flame
Office / travel - doubles as a bento-style container with the locking lid

For rice: Use the graduated lines on the inner pot. Match rice weight to corresponding water line. 15–20 minutes at pressure.
For soups and stews: Fill the outer pot directly (no inner pot needed). Lock lid. Bring to pressure. Cook 20–30 minutes depending on ingredients.
Fuel savings: Pressure cooking at altitude can reduce fuel consumption by 30–40% compared to open-pot boiling. Faster cook times = less fuel burned.
Natural release vs. quick release: Letting the pot cool naturally gives the best rice texture. Quick-release (turning the valve) works for soups and stews where texture is less critical.
The inner pot separates starchy water from rice while allowing even heat circulation - this is what gives you fluffy, individual grains instead of a sticky mass.

Wash all components with soap and warm water before first use. After cooking, remove the inner pot and wash separately. Clean the gasket seal and pressure valve regularly to maintain proper function. All components are dishwasher safe remove foldable handles and valve before placing in dishwasher. Inspect the silicone gasket periodically and replace if it shows wear. Spare valves are included in the box.
Titanium develops a natural heat patina over time this is purely cosmetic and does not affect performance or food safety.

Over a year of engineering and field testing went into this pot. From high-altitude base camps in the Rockies to weekend car camping with family, the 1800ml Titanium Pressure Pot was designed to deliver real cooking performance without the weight penalty.
This is the pot for the person who's done eating bad camp food. Done carrying heavy steel. Done wondering why their rice never cooks right above 8,000 feet.
Cook anywhere. Cook properly. Cook for life.
Valtcan Eagle logo on each pot. Please wash thoroughly with soap and warm water before first use.
