What is described in the files I purchase?

Included in the file are annotated visual charts laid out in numbered grids representing columns and rows of stitches. These are marked to show you where double-crochet is required. There are no line-per-line written instructions in sentence form. Utilizing these charts requires a basic understanding of overlay mosaic crochet technique. You will find a link to a YouTube video where we learned the technique in the store item description.

Included are written instructions, the design broken down into 25 beautiful charts, as well as a single master chart. We do not include instructions on Mosaic Crochet ~ we've designed this pattern for those who already have a handle on the craft. For those looking to begin, YouTube is loaded to the gills (or antennae as the case may be) with wonderful tutorials.

Our colors are just a guide (and are generally comprised of what we have laying around), so go wild picking out the perfect color palettes to match your decor or whim! Having said that, we do include all the color and yardage information in the docs.

These are the yarns used in our sample, all medium weight worked with an H hook:

Red Heart Black - 1316 grams/2440yards
Loops & Threads Taupe - 1655 grams/2974 yards

Total yarn used - 2971 grams/ 5414 yards

Our finished piece, made with medium weighted worsted yarn, is roughly 82 inches long and 54 inches wide. That’s with the pattern being 272 stitches tall and 189 stitches wide. Different yarn weights will yield different dimensions in finish size.
