How do I know what size choker I wear? - For leather and chain chokers with extenders

Please do not guess your choker size. Make sure to measure your neck where you want to wear the choker. Once you measure your neck, I recommend you add a half inch to the measurement for it to fit comfortably (not too tight and not too loose). For example, If your neck measures anywhere between 13.5 up to 14.45 inches, I recommend you purchase a 14 inch choker. Unless you like a super tight fit, then you can go for the exact measurement. Please make sure you select the correct size before checking out. Wear it Out! is not responsible for buyers selecting the wrong size during checkout. All chokers come with a one inch extender. So, 14-15" means 14 inches plus 1 inch extender making it wearable 14-15".

How do I know what size choker I wear? - Chained chokers without extender

For chokers that have no extenders- If it is a chain choker, and it does NOT say 14-15", just 14 inch, then it will be 14 inches with no extra chain. In this case the chain itself is adjustable, so it will be up to you if you want extra wiggle room. If you do want extra room, I recommend sizing up. For example, if your neck measures 13.5 inches, I recommend sizing up to a 15 inch to have room for extending. Chained chokers have no stretch so you will want to order them with some wiggle room.

How is the choker measured? Just leather?

NO. The length includes and is measured by all wearable parts (Lobster clasp to first link). So, just like you measure your entire neck length around your neck, this is measured by all wearable parts that go around your entire neck. So, the 12-13" length choker will measure 12 inches (the smallest you can wear it at) all the way around with a one inch extender making it wearable from 12 to 13". 13 inches being the longest length you can wear it at.
