HOW TO PRINT
Files are provided in PDF and JPG format. When your printer accepts PDF files, always send the PDF files for best quality output. If your printer cannot accept PDF (e.g. Walgreens photo prints), we provide JPG files.

We recommend using Adobe Acrobat Reader to open and print your files. Acrobat Reader is available free from Adobe: https://www.adobe.com/acrobat/pdf-reader.html

----------
PRINTING FROM HOME
Your file bundle includes seven sign sizes:
8.5" x 11" / 11" x 17" / 16" x 20" / 18" x 24" / 20" x 30" / 22" x 28" / 24" x 36"

Since it can be challenging to print larger signs from a home printer with letter-sized paper, we’ve also included pre-tiled files for our 11" x 17", 16" x 20", and 18" x 24" signs.

To print and assemble a tiled file:

1. Open the file in Acrobat Reader. You’ll see multiple pages in the file with a page size of 8.5x11. Each page includes crop marks in either cyan or magenta color, indicating where you will trim your printed page.
2. Print all pages in the tiled file on letter-sized paper. 11x17 signs use 4 sheets; 18x24 signs use 8 sheets.
3. Follow the crop marks to trim off excess, leaving only the pieces you’ll use to assemble your sign.
4. Piece together your cut-out pages, flip over, and tape pieces together on the back side.
5. Mount on your choice of material to make your sign sturdy and easy to hold and carry. We like foam board, but poster board or cardboard also works.

----------
PRINTING LOCALLY AT STORES
Sources like office supply stores (e.g. Staples, Office Depot), FedEx Office, or local printers can output your sign on a large-format printer in one piece, which you can mount on foam board or other backing yourself, or have the store do that.

To print on large-format printer:

1. Determine if you are going to order online or bring a file to the store or printer.
2. To order online, upload the PDF file you want to print (choose your size and color option) in the vendor’s online ordering system. You can also load the file you want to print onto an external drive to deliver in person to your vendor. If your printer cannot print PDF files (e.g. Walgreens), send the JPG file.

Due to differences in monitor colors and printing inks and process, colors may vary slightly.
