Highlights
Fire Opal Stone from Magdalena, Jalisco, Mexico.
This is an oval cabochon shape, flat back and slightly domed front.
Light beige/ white color NATURAL Rhyolite matrix stone.
The front of the stone is speckled with darker matrix and tiny translucent Opal inclusions. The Opal inclusions sparkle with flecks of neon "Fire" when it catches the light.... Green, Red and Orange. A solid gemstone with a smooth polish.
I have side drilled a 3mm hole. It comes on an 18 inch Silver plated Copper chain with a lobster style clasp ( nickle free & lead free ) and the hole size will fit on most standard chains.
27mm long ( just over 1 inch ) x 18mm wide x 8mm thick.
Weighs 7.4 grams.
Ships in a nice gift box.
