Metal Horned Toad Sculpture: Desert Animal Art with Lightning Bolt Design

Mini Metal Desert Horned Toad aka Horney Toad. These are some of the most interesting looking animals in the Sonoran Desert. I always enjoy spotting them!
I created this version with designs, including a lightning bolt on its back because I only ever see them during our monsoon season.
Made at my home workshop in Tucson, AZ. Not imported or mass-produced in a factory.

I can finish this piece for you in one of two ways:

Raw steel:
It will be steel color and may have some rust developing. Will naturally rust over time.

Rusted & Sealed:
After cutting, I begin a days-long, natural rusting process until the desired antiqued look is achieved. I then apply multiple coats of an outdoor sealer to lock-in the unique rusty coloration.

*Any raw, unsealed piece will have rust that may get on your hands or stain clothing. If placed on an outside surface, discoloration of the surface may occur when water runs off of the rusted metal.
