A superb antique Chinese porcelain dish decorated with famille verte enamels. The piece features beautiful handwritten calligraphy in Chinese characters all around the exterior, likely an auspicious poem wishing for happiness and longevity. The design features floral and plant motifs, butterflies, and dragonflies. The entire dish is hand-painted.

The reverse is decorated with a red seal in the sigillary style (Qing reign mark, probably apocryphal), as well as an old wax seal, probably affixed by a collector or merchant.

Inside, we find a deep green enamel, now partially worn by time and use, which testifies to the antiquity of this piece.

A beautiful, authentic and decorative collector's item, ideal for lovers of Asian art and antique porcelain.
