The blades are shaped from steel, often using modern tools like laser cutting in the initial stages, but the final shaping, grinding, and finishing are done by hand.

Quality ok to good. All metal parts blade- guard-pommel good materials. Handle wrapping ok, wooden handle seem unfinished, on wrap and pommel some glue blemishes - for me visual unappealing. Craftmanship ok, recommend as letter opener, probably what I’ll use it for. Not a show knife for my desk. Knife matched description, but more of a work knife.
