Shipping Insurance & Damage Claims

All shipments are insured up to $100. If your item arrives damaged, you may file a claim directly with USPS to receive reimbursement by mail. If you would like to purchase additional insurance beyond $100, please notify us at the time of purchase. To submit a claim, you must have clear photos of both the damaged item and the original packaging, and you must retain the packaging in case USPS requires in-person verification. In some cases, USPS may also request that the damaged item be taken to a waste facility for disposal and proof of disposal may be required. Please report any damage to our shop within 48 hours of delivery so we can assist you promptly.

Final Sale on Products & Product Defects that would result in a refund with items sent back.

All custom order, personalized, and made-to-order products are a final sale unless the quality of the product is an issue. A defect in the product would be a hole in the fabric/shirt, a seam being left open, a hole in the seam where the stitching came loose, crib skirts not having a zig-zag stitch over raw edges, an accessory not sewn on properly, or falling off. A slight curve in some of the stitching and a slight Minky overhang on the edges of blankets is not considered a quality defect. Minky lies how Minky wants to lie sometimes. In the seams, the fabric is thick & minky cannot be forced to lie a certain way. Please note that most of my products are custom-made to order. Items must be sent back to receive a refund.

Do you offer other colors? Fabric Samples?

Many of our items are available in multiple colors, and most can be customized to suit your preferences. If you're looking for a specific color or fabric variation, feel free to reach out—we’re happy to discuss your ideas. Please note that extensive design changes may incur a customization fee, depending on the scope. Keep in mind that colors may appear slightly different in person due to individual monitor settings. We do our best to ensure that product images are as true-to-color as possible To ensure the best color match for your items, we recommend requesting a fabric sample before placing your order. I work hard to make my designs unique and one of a kind. My copy, photos, designs, and products are all copyrighted and my private property. Please do not use images without consent and please keep originality in mind when creating your own products.

Due to the custom nature of the products, we do not accept returns on crib bedding, wall art, or any other nursery accessories that are made to order Returns must be in the original, unused, unwashed condition, & also free of smells. Refunds will be credited to the original method of payment once the return is received and inspected. A 50% restocking and handling fee may be deducted if a product is in unsaleable condition. Original shipping charges are non-refundable. Crib Bedding Sizing Guidance To ensure a proper fit, we recommend measuring both your crib and crib mattress before placing your order. If you use a mattress pad, please include its thickness in your height measurement, as it can affect how the crib sheet fits

Custom Personalized Blankets

Do you send photos before you ship items? Due to the high volume of orders that we create and ship every day, we are unable to send photos or create mock-ups before production and shipment. We also sometimes share sneak peeks of customer items on our Instagram @thecreativeraccoon Custom and Personalized items are non-refundable and cannot be returned unless there is a defect in the seam or a hole in the blanket fabric. A slight curve to the stitching in places is not considered a defect.

Do you accept returns, exchanges or Digital Download Products?

For Digital Download Products - Due to the nature of the digital download file, no refund or cancellation can be offered. If there's any problem with the image, please contact us for further assistance.

What if my package is delayed/lost in transit or stolen? What if my item is returned to the sender/seller after it's shipped?

THE CREATIVE RACOON is not liable for packages that are delayed in transit, lost by the shipping carrier, or stolen-- all circumstances which are beyond our control. Once we hand your item over to the shipping carrier it is their responsibility to deliver the item-- please contact the shipping carrier directly regarding delays or lost packages. If you suspect mail theft you can obtain the GPS coordinates of the last scan point from the shipping carrier and file a mail theft report with your local police department. What if my item is returned to the sender/seller after it's shipped? If a customer's order is returned to the sender/seller for ANY reason the customer is responsible for paying for re-shipment.

Machine wash in cold water with similar colors, without bleach or fabric softeners. Tumble dry on low and promptly remove from the dryer. Do not iron the product tag, as it will melt. Do not iron the minky fabric; it melts the fibers.
