Baby doll head - as found, ready for salvage in an art project or the like. The painted details and outer coating have seen better days - though are now part of the charm. This is a lighter weight piece though I think is a form of composition doll. The underside shows a pressed material & coating, though does not seem like paper mache. No markings to help with identification.
