Want to decorate your own enclosure for a jumping spider? This blank acrylic enclosure is ready to go for a new spood to live in! This empty enclosure provides a fun opportunity for you to decorate your enclosure however you like it - whether that be a bioactive terrarium, or a non-bioactive enclosure!
This enclosure is different from other spider houses out there. Many enclosures out there always run into the same problem: acrylic cracking at the spots it slots into to keep it shut, lessening the longevity and functionality of it. These enclosures, designed by NimbleJingleCo, are specifically made to last longer, prevent cracking in the acrylic, and make it an overall easy experience to handle your pet jumping spider with. With a magnet on each corner, the magnets keep the enclosure shut.
There are 2mm holes, lined across the top and bottom of the enclosure, the middle features clean-cut holes that create a heart shape, providing great ventilation. When looking at the back of the enclosure, it features the NimbleJingleCo logo printed on the back in a partially-translucent white.
NOTE: the enclosure comes apart easily when putting pressure on the magnet when moving it forwards, backwards, or side to side. When handling, please hold the bottom, or top only! This prevents it from the magnetic pull coming apart when sliding it. You only want to handle the top and bottom when opening it!
The crystal clear acrylic provides a great view into the enclosure, while allowing your spider to enjoy the view without escaping. This enclosure is designed for sub-adult and adult jumping spiders only!! If your spider is 2mm or smaller in body size, they will escape!
This enclosure comes in 2 styles!
Style 1: this style’s opening is at the bottom, allowing extra room for your spider to make a big web, without destroying it each time you open it. It also allows for more climbing space and hides when creating the enclosure. It is slightly more difficult to access your spider with this one when trying to take him/her out to handle. The base is 4 inches x 4 inches, and is 8 inches tall.
Style 2: the opening of the enclosure is at the top. This allows for easy cleaning and access to your spider, though may be harder to place moss in the bottom portion. This gives your spider plenty of room to explore! The base is 4 inches x 4 inches, and is 8 inches tall.
