Susan Mar 25, 2026

The solid 14K gold cross is the perfect size, exactly what I wanted. My only disappointment is that even though the item is titled "14 Karat Solid Gold Small Cross Necklace", the chain is only gold filled and not solid gold. I now see that much farther down in the description it says gold filled. However, because of the way the item is titled, I missed that part of the "14 Karat solid gold necklace " isn't 14 karat solid gold. I read the description, but missed that part because I never expected it to be different than the title. The little cross, however, is beautiful. I will just have to spend the money on a better quality chain. The necklace was shipped very quickly and it was in a nice little box, which I appreciate.

Response from Jeffrey

Susan, thank you for your order and feedback. The description does include the chain as gold filled. I use only gold filled chains to offer an affordable product while maintaining quality. Gold filled jewelry is durable, maintains its shine, and will last a very long time. If this necklace were to include a solid gold chain, then the overall cost would be more than four times the current cost.

I purchased this cross necklace as a Christmas gift for my mother, and she loved it. She went through cancer a few years ago, and learning that the maker works in medical imaging with cancer patients gave the gift an unexpected and meaningful backstory.
