Vintage Mid-Century Italian Five-Light Brass Chandelier w/Crystal Accents
Up for Sale is a Vintage Mid-Century Italian brass Chandelier. This 5 light fixture is characterized by its ornate design, brass metalwork and faceted crystal accent balls. It features a central column and gracefully curving arms, terminating in a candle style bulb holder, reminiscent of older lighting fixtures designed to hold actual candles. The lower parts of the arms and central rod are adorn by the crystal balls, adding a touch of elegance and sparkle when illuminated. This chandelier is typically used in formal settings, such as dining rooms, foyers, living rooms or grand hallways, where they are served as a statement piece and provide ambient lighting.
The fixture is about 16" wide and 17" tall. It weighs a little over 4-1/2 lbs. It included 5 LED filament Edison Style Bulbs. The wiring looks sound, but the cloth covering is frayed. You might need to extend the wiring from the top hub for installation, especially if you hang it on a longer chain. This fixture is old and has minor blemishes within the patina.....these are not imperfections and add to the beauty of this very old and beautiful Brass Fixture.
